Why You Cannot Correctly Play DVD in Sony DVP-SR200P/B DVD Player

“What should I do? My DVD disc can only be played in PC but can’t be correctly played in DVD player. ” Many people may encounter this problem when they intend to play the DVD disc in family DVD player. In most cases, following factors may cause the play failure:

The family DVD player has been out of date and it doesn’t support the file codec.
Poor disc compatibility.
Incorrect format of the disc.
Improper parameter settings before the burning.

Step4. Start burning videos

When the video conversion and DVD menu creation are completed, it pops up a dialog and starts burning the generated video files to disc.

Step5. Insert the burnt DVD discs to DVD Player

When the DVD discs have been burnt, it’s time for family TV enjoyment. Insert the burnt DVD discs and enjoy watching.

Tip: Please adjust TV output mode if black area appears in TV.

Step4. Trim the movies if needed

Drag the left triangle to a position you want it be the start of the converted video and the right triangle to a position you want it be the end of the converted video.

Step5. Burn movies to DVD discs

Click “Burn” button in the toolbar. If you forget to insert a DVD disc to your PC, the burnt files will be saved in the folder where the program is installed. The folder will open automatically after the burning.

Tip: Three types of files are included in the VIDOE_TS folder: .IFO (information files), .VOB (video data files), .BUP (backups for IFO files).

Step6. Insert the burnt DVD discs to the Boss BV9992 In-Dash 7

Copy the burnt DVD folder to your DVD disc. Now, enjoy blockbusters with this car DVD player. This method is also suitable for other car DVD players.

Step 1: Add Files

Besides the target disc size, you may need to do some other setting, like choosing video dimension:

Also under General or Advanced Setting panel, click the arrow below tab Video dimension and select the target video dimension from the drop down list. There are three options: “1280*720″, “1440*1080″ and “1920*1080″. Since all the HD televisions are 1920 x 1080, which is full high definition and is the standard for todayâ€™s TV’s, here it recommended to select 1920 x 1080.

If you are advanced users and familiar with video code, you may set more parameters for your Blu-ray Disc under Advanced Setting panel.

Step 3: Burn Blu-ray Disc

Make sure the checkbox besides the movie files you want to burn is been ticked. If there is none movie ticked, the program prompts when starting burning. When all the checkboxes are ticked, the movie files added in will be burned following the order of the file list.

Select “Burn” from File in the Menu or directly click button “Burn” on the Toolbar, and then it starts burning:

Note: If there is no disc in the drive, it pops up a dialog for prompting and HD Movie Maker automatically creates a folder for saving temporary files.

The burning function requires Windows XP SP2/Windows Vista SP1 or above versions. If the system doesn’t meet the requirement, HD Movie Maker will automatically create a standard folder to store the generated Blu-ray movie.
