Advanced Settings

Under tab "Advanced", you may customize the detailed video and audio properties by your own.

General

Advanced Settings - General

Target disc size: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target disc size from the drop down list. There are four options: "DVD-5 (4.7G)", "DVD-9 (8.5G)", "BD-25 (25G)" and "BD-50 (50G)".

If users choose "DVD-5" or "DVD-9" under "Target Disc Size" in the Settings panel, it actually burns out "AVCHD".

If users choose "BD-25" or "BD-50" under "Target Disc Size" in the Settings panel, it actually burns out "BDMV".

Disc label: Input the label here for the disc. The default label is the current date.

Quality level: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the video encoding quality level from the drop down list according to your need about output video quality and encoding speed. Usually better quality means slower encoding speed.

Video

Advanced Settings - Video

Video Codec:It tells the video codec used for the conversion.

Dimension: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target video dimension from the drop down list. There are three options: "1280*720", "1440*1080" and "1920*1080".

Bit rate(Kbps): Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target video Bit rate from the drop down list.

Frame rate: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select target video frame rate from the drop down list. There are three options: "24 (Film)", "25 (PAL)" and "29.97 (NTSC)".

Zoom Mode: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select a zoom mode from the drop down list. There are three options: "Letterbox", "Pan & Scan" and "Stretch".

Audio

Enable audio: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then set whether to enable audio in the output file. There are two options in the drop down list: "Yes" and "No".

Audio Codec: It tells the audio codec used for the conversion.

Bit rate (Kbps): Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target audio Bit rate from the drop down list.

Sample rate: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target audio sample rate from the drop down list.

Channels: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the audio channel from the drop down list. There are three options: "1 (Mono)", "2 (Stereo)" and "5.1 (Surround)".
