General
Under tab "General", users may select a folder for saving the temporary files during the video conversion. If there is no burner or disc in the computer, the video files generated will be saved in the folder, too. The default name of the folder is "Sothink HD Movie Maker".
When the temporary folder is set, it shows the free space in current drive. And if it's not clear that which hard disk has enough free space, click button "Disk Cost" to check all the hard disk capacity and free space condition in the dialog appears.

User Interface
Under tab "User Interface", there are some settings for File list's appearance and the reaction of double-clicking a file.

Encoding
Sothink HD Movie Maker supports multiple CPUs and multiple core CPUs, and supports concurrent conversion for multiple videos with high speed. Here under tab "Encoding", users may choose the maximum number of CPU cores to use from the drop down menu if there is more than one CPU core.
As for the last option "Play a sound when the conversion is finished", users may select a sound from their own sound file or choose one from the Sothink HD Movie Maker sound files.

Burner
Under tab "Burner", there are three options for burning and disc settings.
For the option "Check disc status before starting encoding", if you would not like to burn movies once the video files conversion is completed, please un-tick the checkbox here. Meanwhile, please make sure there is no disc in the CD-ROM.
