Advanced Settings

Under tab "Advanced", there are General, Video and Audio settings. For the setting, just click one of the setting items, and then it appears an arrow besides the item waiting for being edited. Some setting items have no arrow and options, you just need to directly input words for editing.

General

Target disc size: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target disc size from the drop down list. There are two options: "DVD-5 (4.7G)" and "DVD-9 (8.5G)".

Tip: In brief, D5 is a single layered DVD disc with nearly 5 GB capacity while D9 is a double layered DVD disc with nearly 9 GB capacity.

Disc label: Input the label here for the disc. The default label is the current date.

Video

Video Codec: The gray text here tells the video codec information. This item information cannot be edited.

Bit rate(Kbps): Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target video Bit rate from the drop down list.

TV system: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select target video frame rate from the drop down list. There are two options: "PAL" and "NTSC".

Tip: "PAL" (short for Phase Alternating Line) and "NTSC" (short for National Television System Committee) are the two standards of TV broadcast.

Aspect ratio: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select aspect ratio of the videos showing on DVD from the drop down list. There are two options: "4:3" and "16:9".

Zoom Mode: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select a zoom mode from the drop down list. There are three options: "Letterbox", "Pan & Scan" and "Stretch".

Audio

Enable audio: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then set whether to enable audio in the target video. There are two options in the drop down list: "Yes" and "No".

Audio Codec: The gray text here tells the audio codec information. This item information cannot be edited.

Bit rate(Kbps): Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target audio Bit rate from the drop down list.

Sample rate: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target audio sample rate from the drop down list. There are two options: "44100" and "48000".

Channels: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the audio channel from the drop down list. There are three options: "1 (Mono)", "2 (Stereo)" and "5.1 (Surround)".

If you only want to do some general setting, you may click tab "Settings" to switch.
