DVD menu is used for listing all the DVD movies in your DVD disc burnt. You may create special DVD menu of your style through doing some settings in "DVD Menu" panel.
Sothink DVD Movie Maker supports synchronal previewing for DVD Menu editing. And the DVD menu created will be like the screenshot below:
Under tab "DVD Menu", there are four setting items in the DVD Menu panel:
: Save all the settings of this menu template.
: Delete this menu template.
Save User-defined Templates
If you have completed the modification of one built-in template, and want to save it as a new one, please rename the template in "Templates", then click the button , and it will be saved and convenient for you to reuse.
If you are not satisfied with one template designed by yourself, please click the button to delete it.
Template: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Select a DVD menu template from the drop down list. There are some templates listed and you may also select option "No menu".
You may preview the template selected in the bottom preview window.
If you choose "No menu" here, the DVD will play as soon as being inserted in the CD-ROM.
BG image: Click the item and it appears a button leading to open a folder which saves program background images for the menu in your PC. The image file should be of JPEG and PNG. And the image size is suggested to be 720*480 or its multiple, which will be zoomed into 720*480 by the program.
BG audio: Click the item and it appears a button leading to open a folder which saves program background audios for the menu in your PC. The audio could be of MP3, WMA, WAV, etc. You may also specify a video file here, and the program will automatically absorb the audio from the file. If you don't want to add a background audio to the menu, please click the button "X" in this item to delete it.
Duration: Click the item and input numbers here to specify the duration (seconds) of the menu.
Title is the information for the DVD and it is played before the movies. The title could be empty.
Font: Click the item and it appears a button leading to open a dialog for setting the title font, size, color, etc.
Title text: Click the item and enter the title text for the menu.
Button is the thumbnails of the movies on DVD.
Font: Click the item and it appears a button leading to open a dialog for setting the font of the button text. This setting will affect all buttons.
Button text: Select a file in the file list and click the item to enter the text for the button.
Playback is for settings how to playback the movies on DVD.
After playing current video: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Select a playback way from the drop down list. There are three options: "Replay current video", "Play next video" and "Back to menu".
After playing last video: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Select a playback way when the last video on DVD is played completely. There are four options: "Replay current video", "Back to first video", "Back to menu" and "Back to first menu" (the first page).
