Answers
Q1: What are the differences between the trial version and the registered version?
- The trial version can be used without charge for a period of 30 days. However the created movies will be watermarked. The registered version has no time limitation and makes no watermark on the created movies. If you want to continue using this software and convert movies without watermark, please order and register this software. Click here for more information.
Q2: How can I speed up the conversion?
- There are several ways to speed up the conversion: you can set smaller Dimension, define lower Bit rate, and Frame rate.
Though no matter what the settings are, the conversion is always time-consuming. Sothink PSP Video Converter can do it faster than most other software under the same settings.
Q3: What should I do after the conversion is done?
After the conversion is done, the program can automatically load the created files to your PSP, if the
option is selected in previous step. And you just need to specify the target drive (which is corresponding to your PSP or Memory Stick), and click "Next" button. You can also choose to load the files by yourself.
When you want to load the files manually, please note there are such naming and path setting rules (below) you should respect. Otherwise, your PSP would not recognize the videos:
- You must copy the correlated ".mp4" and ".THM" files, which have the same name, to the same folder;
- The file name should be M4V00001.mp4 to M4V99999.mp4, and M4V00001.THM to M4V99999.THM. Neither the number of "mp4" or "THM" files in one folder could over 99999, otherwise just move the files to another folder.
- The path should be (Volume Label):\MP_ROOT\101MNV01\ to (Volume Label):\MP_ROOT\999MNV01\. The number of folders in PSP should not over 999.
There is an example:
Firstly, rename superman.mp4 to M4V00001.mp4, and superman.THM to M4V00001.THM.
Then, assumed that "G" is the volume label of your PSP (Memory Stick), create a folder on it like this: G:\MP_ROOT\101MNV01\.
Lastly, copy M4V00001.mp4 and M4V00001.THM altogether to the folder.
