Advanced Settings

Under tab "Advanced", you may customize the detailed video and audio properties by your own.

General

Advanced Settings - General

Output name: Type the name for the output file of the selected video or audio. The default output name is as same as the source file.

Title: Type the title for the output file of the selected video or audio.

Author: Type the title for the output file of the selected video or audio.

Advanced Settings - Video

Trim start: It displays the trim start time of the selected video/audio. When clicking this item, it appears a little button for you to open Trim window.

Trim end: It displays the trim end time of the selected video/audio. When clicking this item, it appears a little button for you to open Trim window.

Video

Advanced Settings - Video

Video Codec: It tells the video codec used for the conversion.

Dimension: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target video dimension from the drop down list.

There are many different dimension options and if you would like to keep the original dimension as the source file, just choose "Original".

Bit rate(Kbps): Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target video Bit rate from the drop down list.

Frame rate: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select target video frame rate from the drop down list.

There are many different frame rate options and if you would like to keep the original frame rate as the source file, just choose "Original".

Aspect ratio: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select aspect ratio from the drop down list.

By default, "Aspect ratio" will be "Auto", which means it will automatically change the aspect ratio to fit for your target device or keep original.

Zoom mode: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select a zoom mode from the drop down list. There are three options: "Letterbox", "Pan & Scan" and "Stretch". Click here to learn how to choose Zoom mode >>

Audio

Enable audio: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then set whether to enable audio in the output file. There are two options in the drop down list: "Yes" and "No".

Audio Codec: It tells the audio codec used for the conversion.

Bit rate (Kbps): Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target audio Bit rate from the drop down list.

Sample rate: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the target audio sample rate from the drop down list.

Channels: Click the item and it appears an arrow for clicking. Then select the audio channel from the drop down list. Usually there are two options: "1 (Mono)" and "2 (Stereo)". Some audio file also has the third option "5.1 (Surround)".
