A: Some video sites use RTMP or MMS protocol to stream the video, which are not supported by Sothink Web Video Downloader. Only HTTP protocol is supported currently.
Q: I clicked the New Download button and added the URL of a Web page which contains a video to download, but the downloaded file cannot play in any video player, why?
A: The downloaded file is a HTML file if you enter the URL of a Web page directly. To download the video, please open the Web page in your browser and let Sothink Web Video Downloader capture it for you.
Q: Why does Sothink Web Video Downloader always restart the download from the beginning when I try to resume a paused download from YouTube?
A: YouTube's servers do not support resuming paused downloads. Do not pause the downloads or shutdown the computer before completion.
